3D Tune-In brought together relevant stakeholders from traditional gaming industries, academic institutes, a large European hearing aid manufacturer and hearing communities to produce digital games in the field of hearing aid technologies and hearing loss in children and older adults, addressing social inclusion, generating new markets and creating job opportunities.
Responsibilities
Involved in an 3D audio localisation study where participants were asked in 3 different sessions to localise sounds in a 3D space in various combination of conditions i.e., question type (plausibility vs. externalisation), sound type (speech vs. noise), sound direction (horizontal vs. vertical), and 7 selected HRTFs (Head-Related Travel Function).
Restructuring user data; selecting a statistical method and conducting a test retest reliability analysis (i.e., Intra Class Correlation) and Anova’s in SPSS ; writing up the result section for scientific publication.
