Problem
In order for the Value Team to understand what brands to approach and which products to add into the Marketplace, they need to know how satisfied users are with the current Marketplace and how the Marketplace can be improved to motivate users to walk more.
Key Questions
Who are our users (e.g., age, salary, gender) and how satisfied are they with the marketplace? How do they like how products are categorised, the brands, how they are presented or priced? Do they have different expectations of the marketplace depending on how they heard about Sweatcoin?
Approach
The survey was created using Survey Monkey
The survey was translated into 8 different languages
Participants were recruited from various Countries from Sweatcoin’s Userbase
The survey was send out in-app as well as by email including reminders

Challenges
The main challenge with this large scale survey was comparing results from country to country since SurveyMonkey only allows analysis for each separate survey. For some countries it was also harder to recruit enough respondents since it was a new market with a smaller user base compared to english speaking countries.
